How to meet an International student friends on or near UVA
My favorite thing to do is pick up my student friend(s) on the grounds and then take them to a nearby place like Pico Wrap. Then you don’t have to worry about parking.
Free parking doesn’t exist during the weekday, but after five and on the weekend, there are lots of free places.
If you do have to park at UVA during the weekday, I suggest the central grounds parking garage. The rates are reasonable. and there are a number of different options around there for a meeting.
If you decide to meet on UVA grounds, you could ask your friend to reserve a meeting room at one of the libraries.
